Liked the performance, she's certainly a talent.

Fifteen years too old for Swiss though, so I understand his lack of enthusiasm.

Re: Tynan's daughter
Tynan was a very prolific presence on the fledgling WHO and Ged told me about his daughter so I've been following her career for several years. You never know if someone is going to make it, but it become apparent for some time that Olivia had a growing reputation. It's really burst open these past months though and I think the album has, as Far suggested, made her massive. Glastonbury, sure, but Sunday Brunch? I like to think her appearance on last year's BB Advent calendar really tipped it for her though :)

Re: Tynan's daughter
When she played the Roundhouse in March it sold out in 40 minutes. 4000 tickets.
There were 10,000 still waiting in the queue.
Could have played the O2.
The album is excellent imho.

Hello everyone, I came to read this, after being told about it, with serious doubts but bless you all for being nice, barring Swiss of course. Off to see her Tues at Somerset House with Uncle Ged of all people.

Don’t like modern pop music usually tbh, but watched a YouTube of her at Glastonbury and thought it was brilliant. Great voice and a great song. Deserved a bigger stage.

Never heard of her till reading this. Just watched the hardest part on her glasto set. Incredible talent, incredible presence, the full package. Enjoy the ride - she should go the whole way.

Re: Tynan's daughter
So lovely to see this thread. Tynan isn't one to blow his own trumpet (I know some of you remember him as a larger than life character, but that was him, this is not, and I'd hope people get that), but I've known Olivia since sitting in the Chicken Run, roughly age 6. She's West Ham through and through.

She's an absolute star with no pretentions at all. Solid singer song writer, with a wonderful heart. All of you should treat yourselves and go see. This young'un is going to be absolutely ***MASSIVE***

Massive, I hear you say?

MASSIVE.

OLIVIA IS MASSIVE, WHERE EVER SHE GOES, OLIVIA IS MASSIVE WHERE EVER SHR GOES, EVERYWHERE SHE GOES...

Ahem...

You were sitting, not standing, in The Chicken Run, Ged? Hmm.

Congrats, Tynan.
